Brooke had so much fun playing with my Mom's dog Gemma. She and Brooke love to run around and by the end of the day they are both completely worn out! Brooke held the leash during most of the after dinner walk.
We have a Season Pass to the Oakland Zoo so we decided to take a quick afternoon trip there a couple of weeks ago. Last time we went Brooke had little interest in the animals but oh my gosh, there was a new story this time!
She was going crazy pointing at the animals, especially the ones she recognizes from her books and puzzels. She was so excited that it made it nearly impossible to get a picture of her looking at the camera, she did not want to take her eyes off the animals for even a minute. It was so much fun!
By the way, did you notice that we offically have enough hair for a top of the head pony tail. Very exciting!
On the 4th of July we were finally able to get a few pictures of Brooke walking. She is getting really good at standing up on her own and turning around.

Brooke is having so much fun pushing her new toy around the house!
But she always has to stop in the middle of pushing and press his nose before she can go again.
And it is so much fun to have her Daddy push her around. She lifts up her feet and starts laughing!
Who knew swinging could make you so thirsty!
